Gold leather, also called Cordoba leather or Cuir de Cordoue, is a wall decoration made of fine leather (usually of tanned calf hides), to which images of silver leaf were attached.
Gold leather can best be compared to a painting that is not painted on canvas, on wood or on copper, but on leather.
